Joséphine Mairate focuses exclusively on the recruitment of lawyers for law firms – from niche boutiques to national and international firms.

She works with French and English speaking lawyers with 3+ years of experience, helping them take the next step in their careers — whether moving to a new firm, exploring partnership opportunities, or aligning their professional ambitions with the right environment.

For law firms, Joséphine identifies and approaches outstanding legal talent that matches each firm’s culture, strategy, and growth plans. Her deep understanding of the legal market allows her to act as both advisor and connector, ensuring long-term, high-quality matches.

After obtaining her law degree from ULB, she started working as a legal advisor specialized in Social Law and then decided to take a different career path by becoming a Recruitment Consultant. Joséphine combines legal understanding with a human and pragmatic approach to building long-term connections.

Outside of work, she’s passionate about trail and horse riding – especially dressage –, where precision, discipline, and finesse also define her professional style. She speaks French, English, and Italian, with a passive knowledge of Dutch.
