The Tax team operates in a highly international and multidisciplinary environment, working closely with colleagues across jurisdictions and practice areas.

As a Senior Lead Lawyer, you will take ownership of sophisticated tax matters and play a key role in strategic transactions, while combining technical expertise with a pragmatic and commercially focused approach.

• Advise Belgian and international clients on direct taxation, including corporate income tax and international tax matters.
• Structure and implement domestic and cross-border reorganisations, restructurings and other strategic business transformations.
• Advise on the tax aspects of M&A transactions, disposals, joint ventures and private equity investments.
• Support clients with international tax planning, group structuring and profit repatriation strategies.
• Lead and oversee tax due diligence exercises, identifying key risks and opportunities in transactional contexts.
• Advise on transfer pricing concepts and related international tax considerations in collaboration with specialised teams.
• Manage complex multi-jurisdictional projects in close cooperation with colleagues across the international network.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Tax practice.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team.

• Belgian-qualified lawyer with 8+ years of relevant experience in Tax Law.
• Strong expertise in direct taxation, particularly corporate income tax.
• Significant experience with international tax, cross-border structuring and corporate reorganisations.
• Solid track record in M&A tax, transactional tax and private equity-related matters.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing and international tax considerations is an asset.
• Excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills combined with strong commercial awareness.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex matters autonomously.
• Experienced in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives.
• Fluent in English with a good working knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic and solution-oriented professional with excellent client and relationship-building skills.
